Lord Michael Sinestro and Lord Patrick the Butcher will host a known world Bardic circle to be held Wednesday night at the Barony of Ered Sul main pavilion. This is not a competition, but a celebration of the bardic arts We would like to welcome ALL bards, new and old, from every kingdom to join us for a night of merry-making and entertainments from all over the known world, featuring performances by Lord Patrick the Butcher M’lady Iona the Healed Baron Christopher Fitzarthur And many, many more… Smalls friendly till ten PM, after that the naughty bits will come out. This is a not to be missed feast of the soul for all who love a good story, a sweet song or stirring poetry, so please join us.

7:00 PM	9:00 PM	Period Demo Center	The Quite Positively Annual Estrella War Banana Bread Bake-off	Read the Details Back by popular demand, The CPQBB (Committee for the Preservation of Quality Banana Bread) will host the Estrella War Banana Bread Bake-off on Thursday evening of Estrella War. This ancient and venerable competition has become a highlight of the war in the minds of many (well… at least the judges). Don’t miss what is certainly the closest thing the SCA has to a half-time show for combat cookery! Anyone interested in competing in this time honored Bake Off may deliver their entry to Baroness Ann at the Period Demo Center anytime on the day of the competition (Thursday Feb 11th). Each entry should be submitted with a card bearing the entrant’s name and any noteworthy information about the entry (cards will be available at the center). This will also be the populace’s opportunity to witness the announcement of the Combat Cooking winners as well view the items created during the Combat Cooking Competition. Each team will display and explain their entries and there may be opportunities for sampling some of the dishes (paper plates and plastic utensils supplied). Bake Off Prizes: Various prizes will be given. Rules and Legal Jargonese: All entries must be made by the entrant, but do not need to be made on site. Both breads with and without nuts will be acceptable. Winner will be chosen by a panel of well-qualified judges who have all passed the CPQBB exhaustive pre-judging questionnaire and qualification review. Breads will be judged and prizes awarded in two categories, traditional and creative. Contrary to popular belief the CPQBB is not just a front set up by Duke Jonathon to aid in the acquisition of Banana Bread… there are other people involved as well. Entries will be judged without the judges knowing who produced the entry. Judges will provide their own butter or spread of choice. Duke Jonathon and the CPQBB maintain no responsibility for the remains of entries making it back to the entrant, as it is expected that any crumbs left by the judges will be pilfered by wannabe judges and mooches who unlike His Grace did not come up with this brilliant idea to get his fill of banana bread.

3:00 PM	5:00 PM	Eastern Battlefield	4th Annual Roses Cancer Tournament	This will be the 4th Rose's Cancer Tournament. Each year we have raised money for the American Cancer Society. This year we will raise funds for some of our own. Duchess Arielle the Golden of Atlantia lost her long fight with breast cancer this year. She was part of the inspiration for this tournament. All proceeds of this year's tournament will go towards her medical expenses, and any remainder will go towards the American Cancer Society. As always the minimum donation to fight is $5, but we will accept as much as you would like to give. As always there will be prizes for the top eight combatants. Come and support some of our own.

Participants/Judges sign-in will start at 7PM with the competition starting at 7:30PM. Sign-in will close at 9PM, with the competition continuing until all participants who are signed in by 9PM have performed. Competition categories will be music, spoken, and other, with prizes for the top 3 finishers in each category. Performers are limited to 10 minutes per performance (I'm not going to have a stopwatch, but be considerate of the other performers), with a maximum of one piece per category per performer.

This year’s Artisans’ Showcase will be held on Sunday under the Grand Court Pavilion with Artisan’s registration and set-up at 9:30am. The Showcase will officially begin at 10:00am and continue until 1pm. All artisans are highly encouraged to attend, whether or not participating in the display. If you have pre-registered, please see the steward upon arrival for your table assignment and any other pertinent information. NOTE: those artisans who register early will have guaranteed space set aside for them, any remaining space will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. To those of the most noble Order of the Laurel ~ if you would attend and show your support for the Known World artisans, please do allow the half hour of set-up before attending, both would be greatly appreciated. Upon arrival, please see one of the Artisans’ Showcase staff to sign in prior to visiting with the artisans. Any questions, please direct them to the Estrella War XXVI Artisans’ Showcase Stewards: Lady Damaris Baroid or Lady Maredudd Browderer.
10:00 AM	NOON	Equestrian Arena	Queen’s Equestrian Champions Tourney	Read the Details “Equestrian Champions”, you are invited to display your honor and skill for your Queen during the “Queen’s Equestrian Champions Tourney.” All Champions must have the sponsorship of a Queen and be an authorized rider. Champions please register prior to Sunday if you wish to compete. Tournament will start promptly at 10:00. Registration and warmup will begin at 9:00. Unless your are providing your own herald, make sure the lists-herald has a copy of how you desire to be introduced The Tourney will consist of a mounted joust against the quintain. But to make things more interesting and challenging, two riders will be competing simultaneously against a quintain specially designed to allow for one winner. Riders will be separated by a 6’ lane to prevent any actual contact. Lances 10’ and under will be allowed for this competition. NOON	2:00 PM	Rapier Field	Weissdrachen 14th annual Lady’s Schlager Treasure Chest Tournament	Come one, come all, Lady Rapier Fighters of the Known World: participate in the Weissdrachen Lady’s Schlager Treasure Chest Tournament. This year’s tournament is once again in honor and memory of The Most Honorable Lady Regan Weissdrachen. Test your skills with sword in hand, against other Ladies while wearing your fanciest Fighting Garb. Demonstrate the “Spirit” ladies have on and off of the tournament field. Today we celebrate Life! List fee is a bauble or a prize for the Treasure Chest. Registration and weapons/armor inspection will begin promptly at 11:00 AM. This will be a Swiss 5 weapons style tournament.
