 Merchant Registration  

Estrella War offers one of the largest Merchant Rows for medieval themed merchandise in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Approximately 150 Merchants operate booths each year. Merchants are invited by the Merchant Coordinator to participate, and are selected based on core sales items consistent with the historical time period of the SCA or current SCA usage. Booth operators and their assistants are also required to dress in medieval style throughout the event.

REGISTERING AS A MERCHANT FOR ESTRELLA WAR XXVII: 

This year, Merchants Row participation for Estrella War XXVII will be by invitation only. Selected merchants will be sent an email invitation requesting their participation by June 30th, 2010. The invitation will include all forms needed to complete the merchant registration process.

To accept the invitation and reserve a space on Merchants Row, a merchant must:

Reply accepting the invitation to participate as an Estrella War XXVII Merchant by August 31, 2010, and Submit their completed packet no later than September 30, 2010.

Completed packets may also be submitted along with the invitation acceptance (i.e., by August 31st) if that is more convenient.

Merchants who do not receive an invitation but wish to participate may email the Estrella War Merchant Coordinator after June 30th and ask to be put on a wait list. Requests for the wait list must include a modern name and SCA or merchant name, as well as a phone number and email where the merchant can be reached.

If merchant invitations are declined, or merchants accepting the invitation fail to properly complete registration by September 30, 2010, their spots will be offered to merchants on the wait list on a “first come, first serve basis”. Merchants on the wait list who are offered open spots will be contacted after September 30, 2010, and must be prepared to mail their completed packets by October 31, 2010.

GATEBOOK ADVERTISING FOR MERCHANTS:

Merchant ad space is available in the gatebook at the following rates:

Advertisement payment is a separate payment from Merchant fees. All adverts are black and white with a finished book size of 8.5” x 11”.

 All advertising must be prepaid. 

 

Camera-ready artwork must be received in the correct format by December 6, 2010. "Designed for you" ads must be received by November 1, 2010. For more information, download “Advertising Guidelines” and “Sample of Ads Designed For You”.
